Apart from USB, you can connect apple devices to your car stereo system via Bluetooth, and an auxiliary cable as well. In this article you are going to learn how to connect apple devices with Bluetooth and Aux input to your car in some crucial steps. Here You Go!

Connecting a device to the car stereo by Aux cable is the same as connecting the device using a USB data cable. Check it out…

Step 1 - Locate the AUX Port

Take a close look at the car stereo system and try to find the Aux port. It’s the port via which I used to put the headphone jack. Unless you’re using a 20-year-old stereo system, you should find an aux port on the system.

Step 2 - Read the manual

Go through the stereo user manual guide to make sure it supports apple devices.

Step 3 - Connect the Cable

Your car stereo system might have come with an aux cable, try connecting the device with that. Go with that, if it works fine.

Otherwise, pick a high-quality cable that will give you uninterrupted audio.

Plug in the long and round end of the cable to the stereo system, and the other end that looks like an iPhone charging port to the iPhone.

Step 4 - Set the Car Stereo

If the stereo system has automatically detected the apple device and activated the aux mode, then you don’t have to do anything. But if you don’t see any changes in the stereo, then you’ll have to activate the aux mode.

Go to the main menu, there you should find the Aux mode, activate it.

Connecting apple devices to the car stereo via Bluetooth is a matter of a few clicks. Take a look…

Step 1 - Ensure the Stereo has Bluetooth Feature

If the car stereo is not very old and comes with a display then it should have Bluetooth function. But still, it’s wise to take a look at the user manual to make sure the stereo system comes with Bluetooth features.

Step 2 - Activate the Bluetooth Pairing Mode

Go to the menu button of the car stereo and find the Bluetooth option. Tap on that, and activate pairing. If you don’t know how to do it, take a look at the user manual.

Step 3 - Enable Bluetooth in your Phone

From the phone setting, go to the Bluetooth option, and look for the car stereo in the available devices list. The name should be car media, car kit, or anything like that. Once you find it, click on that.

If you're asked to enter a passcode, look at the stereo display, it should show the passcode.

And once you enter the passcode that should connect the phone to the stereo system.
